Maximilian – "It is quite simple, really: I love wine. I love the places where it grows, I love the craftsmanship that goes into it, and I love the stories and people behind it. My passion to find the best solutions for both the wine producers and my wine-buying clients stems from my somewhat unique background. I'm a trained chef in Germany, have a business degree from New York, worked in wine production in Italy, and have many years of work experience in the beverage and restaurant industry in both North America and Europe. I have the utmost respect for the entire chain from wine producers to consumers
Founding Bottle Hyve is realizing a long-term dream of mine. To us, helping wine producers succeed in the international market and helping partners to find the perfect bottle for their businesses is what gets us out of bed early in the mornings. We continue to challenge ourselves to find ever-improving ways to support and add value to our partners and clients
I consider myself a busy worker-bee…and I'm proud of my hyve."
“Ciao everyone!
I’m Federico Tacchella, 27 yo from Acqui Terme in Piedmont-Italy but I’ve always been fascinated by USA since my High School diploma in Alabama in 2011. Very solid interest and passion in food&wine industry thanks to a 3-year degree at Slow Food University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo and also to WSET Diploma in Wines which I’m currently attending. I’m also very proud to represent the amazing terroir from my close by-native land as Langhe Wine Ambassador (Barolo & Barbaresco) from 2019. My professional career started by working on weekends as sommelier for a few years and then I entered the wine industry as brand ambassador and export manager from 2015. Thanks to Bottle Hyve I'm ready to step-up the game and dive deep into my passion and interest in true vignerons and stories to tell behind wine labels through many unique wines that surround us everyday.”
JoAnna Seguna – „My name is JoAnna Seguna, and I hail from the beautiful island of Malta. However, for the past 15 years, I have called Bad Aibling, Bavaria, Germany my home. I am incredibly fortunate to be the proud mother of two lovely daughters and the wife of an amazing Maltese husband.
Growing up, I was introduced to the world of wine in the humble surroundings of my family&garage. My father, a passionate wine enthusiast, crafted wines for our family and supplied home brewing essentials. Those early experiences ignited a deep love for wine within me. My professional journey started in the banking sector, where I honed my skills and gained valuable experience. However, my true calling came when I joined the Bottle Hyve team. Currently, I manage orders and logistics, ensuring that our customers receive their favorite wines in a timely manner. Languages have always fascinated me, and I am fortunate enough to be fluent in Maltese, English, Italian, and German. Exploring different cultures and languages has been a constant source of joy in my life. In my leisure time, I love to travel to Italy, immersing myself in its rich history, vibrant culture, and of course, its exceptional wines.
Luis Guillermo Arriola - Hello, I'm Luis Guillermo Arriola, and I am proud to call the vibrant city of Guadalajara, Mexico my home. As a devoted husband and proud father to my border collie, Kombucha, my life revolves around family, great food&vino, and adventure.
My journey began in the world of winemaking, where I crafted unique wines using a variety of fruits, excluding the traditional grapes. However, my passion for the culinary world soon led me to explore the sales and distribution side, representing exceptional craft beer brands both on and off-premise
Beyond my professional pursuits, I possess an uncanny talent for unearthing hidden gems in the form of local, affordable, and authentic dining establishments. Consider me a "truffle-dog" of good food, always on the lookout for delectable treats wherever my travels take me. When I'm not on the hunt for tantalizing flavors, you can find me exploring new destinations, venturing into the wild on hikes with my wife, friends, and faithful companion, Kombucha. I also cherish the serene solitude of deserted beaches, where I can disconnect from the world and soak in the natural beauty.
Over the years, I have nurtured a vast network of professionals in the food and beverage industry throughout Mexico and Latin America, enabling me to connect with like-minded individuals and exchange ideas.
